Theresa Barrett

Theresa joined Blackhorn Ventures in January 2022.  In her role as Executive Assistant, she is the primary support to managing partners, Melissa Cheong and Philip O’Connor.

Prior to joining Blackhorn, Theresa was the Executive Assistant at different family offices, including Cedar Investors and ZOMALAB, where she provided executive, personal, and operational support to the principals and C-level executives.  Previously, Theresa was a Private Wealth Associate at Merrill Lynch, where she supported a Private Wealth Management group with 200 clients and a combined portfolio value of over $2 billion.  She also worked at Exclusive Resorts for nearly a decade, managing the club membership experience and travel for her clients. Theresa holds a B.S. from The University of Kansas William Allen White School of Journalism and Mass Communications.
